I just got back from seeing Blue Cheer, they where awesome... and loud has hell!

Only thing I've ever heard by them was their drum-heavy cover of Summertime Blues from way back when, but I remember thinking "Dang, these guys rocked!" Surprised to hear they're still around.

They played the fuck out of that song. It was way heavier than the studio version... They're still the masters of guitar and bass tone and Dickie Peterson's vocals are just as strong as they where in the late 60's.
