New Halloween Casting Brings a Spoiler With It

So here’s the thing… we don’t know much about the plot for the latest entry into the Halloween franchise; however, Deadline is reporting some new casting news that reveals a particular role of interest. That being said… spoiler free? Judy Greer (Jurassic World, Antman) is in talks to join the film’s cast, which includes a returning Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie Strode.

The site also reveals that Greer is in talks to play Curtis’ daughter, Karen Strode, in the film.

Creator and original director John Carpenter will be acting as executive producer on the film with franchise regular Malek Akkad producing. It’s being written by Danny McBride and David Gordon Green with Green directing. Look for the film worldwide in October 2018.
Synopsis:
Jamie Lee Curtis returns to her iconic role as Laurie Strode, who comes to her final confrontation with Michael Myers, the masked figure who has haunted her since she narrowly escaped his killing spree on Halloween night four decades ago.
