That game is going to make someone poop their pants. Mark my words.

It might make someone in our house poop their pants.

God damned creepy glowing eyed singing exploding dolls......

Ugh.

I got special pair o' pants ready for the poopin'!
Until then, it's Halo 3, Super Mario Galaxy and Jerico (in which you also have to unload entire clips of ammo to kill anything in this game, ugh. nice graphics though).

Well I didn't poop my pants, but the Condemed 2 is a soild game anyway. Loved the boxing and creepy enemies. Jerico was rubbish, except for the pretty visuals.

Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth for Xbox Cthulhu saves!
Just WOW. If you're a Lovecraft fan, you must play this one. Reminded me a lot of the Condemned games, as you focus more on gathering clues and puzzles than gun fights. There are shootouts, and they can be a rather tense affairs, but it's more Resident Evil than Killzone.
The story is a mix of Dagon, Call of Cthulhu and Shadow Over Innsmouth. While these stories are not directly related in the writings of Lovecraft (I believe) , the story here is quite interesting. As much as I would love to share some of the story or the levels with you, it really would be a disservice to anyone thinking of playing it. Let's just say you battle a god with heavy artillery mounted on the bow of a boat. Yes, it's as cool as you think.
One of the minor gripes I had was the "insanity" effects. If you see something too horrible to describe, as Lovecraft often wrote about, you start to lose your mind. While a neat idea in theory, it's close to broken in practice. The more freaked you get, the screen starts to go wonky, you hear things, and if it gets too much to bear, you off yourself. How are you supposed to shoot or dodge something if you can't look at it? This lead to a couple of irritating deaths, but after you get the pattern down, you can get through these parts fast enough so as not to have a breakdown of Margot Kidder proportions.
So if you see it in your local bargin bin, buy it. It's 360 compatible and under $20. 4 1/2 out of 5
