Long time lurker, first time poster- I have a little time on my hands right now so I joined up. I'm a newbie to this board but by no means to the horror genre. I love it all: Universal monsters, classic sci-fi and creature features, Hammer horror (and British horror in general), exploitation/trash, various gialli and most European type genre flicks, 1970s TV horror, Hong Kong martial arts flicks and Category III thrillers, etcetc. I also have a deep abiding love for the violent over the top action films of Stallone, Schwarzenegger, Seagal, Van Damme et al. And I love comedy in all its forms.

Anyway, just wanted to do the traditional "I'm new" post. Look forward to chatting to you all. Thanks,

Si

There's a rule that once you get past your first post you have to send me twenty bucks.

So... get sending.

Welcome.

Monopoly? With inflation rates, you'll have to give me more than twenty.

Hi.

And your thoughts on the 70s made for tv movies?

Was it The Golden Age of Shatner or just pure for the masses trifling?

Both?

How many beers do you have to drink before declaring Dead and Breakfast a modern day classic?

Dude, NO amount of beers is up to that task. You're gonna need something alot stronger. Like paint thinner.

(I don't hate the movie. In fact, I own the damn thing, but I'd never call it a 'modern day classic'. NEVER.)

Also, welcome to the newbie.

Dead and Breakfast isn't a classic, but it is enjoyable.

And welcome to my forums.

Behold, a dream did come to me in the night, and the lord did show all this to me. In the dream the lord did come to me and he was a shape, it was He Who Walks Behind the Rows, and I did fall on my knees in terror, and hide my eyes, lest the fearfulness of his face strike me dead!
