E3 2011: New Prototype 2 Trailer

The 2011 E3 Gaming Expo runs from June 7th-9th this year at the Los Angeles Convention Center, and already new trailers are coming in like wildfire. First up we have the Prototype 2 E3 trailer – Check it out and find out why Heller is so ticked off at Mercer.

Activision Publishing, Inc. has confirmed that PROTOTYPE® 2, the sequel to Radical Entertainment’s original best-selling game of 2009 – PROTOTYPE – is currently in development for 2012. “When PROTOTYPE surpassed 2MM units, we knew gamers would want a sequel to find out what happens next with Alex Mercer,” said Ken Rosman, Studio Head, Radical Entertainment. “The team here at Radical is sincerely grateful to the fans, and we are laser focused on delivering an even bigger and better experience with PROTOTYPE 2!”
PROTOTYPE 2 is currently rated “RP” (Rating Pending) by the ESRB, with an expected “M” (Mature – Content that may be suitable for persons 17 and older) rating – because players will still be able to karate kick helicopters right out of the sky and do all sorts of really gory stuff with tendrils; but mostly because Sgt. James Heller is really pissed off at Alex Mercer, and there’s no way to tell that story without getting a little … well … gross.
