In case you couldn’t tell from the wondrous scent of gunfire and gore in the air, we’re getting closer to the release of the highly anticipated anthology film Chillerama. Time for another quick look!
This morning a new still was released for Joe Lynch’s (Wrong Turn 2, Knights of Badassdom, Everly) segment, “Zom-B-Movie”, which tells the tale of what happens when a final night of nostalgia unfolds at the Kaufman Drive-In before it is torn down, where owner Cecil Kaufman (Bridesmaids, Office Space’s Richard Riehle, pictured here) is screening obscure B-movies from his private collection to an audience of local geeks and line-quoting movie lovers. Little do the unsuspecting cinema-loving patrons know, but tonight something is horrifically amiss at the Last Drive-In …
Chillerama also features segments by Adam Rifkin (“Wadzilla”), Adam Green (“The Diary of Anne Frankenstein”), and Tim Sullivan (“I Was a Teenage Werebear”).
According to the official ArieScope website, Image Entertainment will be releasing the film this fall.
