So I got myself a Nintendo DS for Christmas, and for a while I was kind of skiddish. Would it be worth the money or would I be kicking myself a month later selling it for half the price I got it?

We're near January and yes, it was a fun purchase.

At the moment I'm playing:
Brain Age 2
Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow

Not to mention I'm still trying to get past Contra 4 and finished Power Rangers: Super Legends.

I have to say, it's a fun system to play with.

I may get Ben 10, soon, and Brain Age.

Power Rangers?

Ghey.

Wink

New Super Mario is a damn fun game too, and from what I hear, COD 4 is actually a well done game on the DS, if you can believe that. I'd look into getting those as well.

You need to get your hands on Zelda : The Phantom Hourglass, and Puzzle Quest : Challenge of the Warlords. Two of the DS's finest.

I got one of these for one of my kids. It looks like fun. Is there a Star Wars game for it?

The Episode III : Revenge of the Sith game is probably the best Star Wars one for the DS. For the most part, it's a port of the GBA version (which is very good itself), but they've also added some pretty nice 3D space-flight/dogfight parts which are a ton of fun.

You're welcome Mr. Green

Lego Star Wars II has also made its way to the DS, but it's not worth it due to graphical and game engine glitches, which would be incredibly frustrating for a kid.

The presentation of the Episode III game is pretty much flawless. Also forgot to mention that it is playable in multiplayer, but only as the 3D dogfights, X-Wing VS Tie-Fighters etc. Great fun if you have a few people to play with.

Any experience with the Godzilla game? I saw it on the rack when I was buying her Zelda. I'm not much a gamer myself but let's just say for instance she left her DS at my place when she goes back to her mothers.....Wink

I saw a commercial for the Godzilla game for the Wii and almost drooled.

Someone I trust about games told me it sucks. It's mainly just Godzilla fighting fighter jets and walking around crashing into a few monsters to fight them. And from the reviews I've read the graphics are horrible, and Godzilla looks like another giant lizard and not the one we know.

Kinda what I figured. I haven't a lot of exposure but I have yet to run into a satisfying Godzilla game.

I haven't played the Godzilla games yet, but I've heard that the Wii version is absolutely diabolical. Don't touch it with a barge pole.

If you want some scary backup for the DS for when it's *ahem* left behind by your daughter, grab a copy of "Dementium : The Ward". A little short, but fun and contains a few scares throughout.

So, I wandered around the selections for NDS this morning. What about the Simpsons game? Again, I don't play much and don't have really a lot of time to get into stuff so I'm just looking for something to distract myself now and then.
