Basically, isopods are an order of crustaceans who looks vaguely like lice... and the bigger species are the size of cats and mighty scary-looking.

Seriously, considering what sort of monsters we have seen, there gotta be a movie about at least one giant killer isopod out there. If there isn't, maybe I should get working on a script.

Perhaps we could make each out killer isopod movie... it wouldn't be the first case of duelling movies.

This is about as close as they've come to making one as far as I know.

Damn. I'm surprised I didn't think of the isopods when I started my "what hasn't been done yet?" thread, and they certainly deserve better than yet another Alien ripoff.

But not really, right? Mr. Green

Goddam, those things are fuckin' scary. I'm actually kinda surprised no one's tried to make a movie based on those camel spider pics that were floating around a few years back. The ones that were supposed to be huge, but were proven to be flase?

And I'm not posting pics of it, because I'll be damned if I ever wanna see one of those again.

It kind of looks like a Gartheim (or whatever) the guard creatures in Dark Crystal.

There was only one monster, but yeah, the Deepstar Six monster did look a little like a cross between an isopod and a lobster, but with really weird three-pronged (or something) jaws. A pity that movie was really stupid.... the monster's strength and size shifts schizophrenically from scene to scene, when it first appears it can knock out an entire small building but later on it can't burst open a locked door. Laughing

They're all sent to Iraq, when all of a sudden...

...You know, I don't remember one goddam thing from that movie.
