The Vampire Diaries: Former American Idol Contestant Heading to Mystic Falls

Father-son warlocks Jonas and Luka Martin may have “departed” Mystic Falls, but fans of “The Vampire Diaries” are about to meet another member of the family as casting news has come in for Greta Martin, who we already know is in the company of Klaus and heading to Mystic Falls.
Per ZAP2it Greta will be played by Lisa Tucker, whom “American Idol” fans may recognize from Season 5. The now 21-year-old singer/actress was only 16 at the time she auditioned, and she made it all the way through to the Top 10.
Greta is described as “cool, hip, smart,” and “a bit of a thrill-seeker.” Witches are going to play a huge part in the sacrifice and the Salvatores’ quest to kill Klaus (Joseph Morgan), especially now that Jonas, with his dying breath, gave Bonnie (Katerina Graham) the tools to make the kill.
Tucker will definitely appear in at least two episodes but may actually appear in four — including the Season Two finale.
