Hi everybody,
Long time reader of the site and the boards. I wanted to kind of get the opinion of some horror fans on my first novel, The Siblings Scarington.
I wrote it mostly for young adults and kids aged 10 and up, but the book is heavily inspired by the type of horror films (Aliens was a big one) and books (Lovecraft) that I like.
I've always been of the impression that to help get the next generation of horror fans up and running, we need to start them early in life, so I wrote the book to be as scary as I could get in a kids novel.
I posted the first two chapters on my website, www.thesiblingsscarington.com. I'd really love it if some of the regular DC readers checked it out and let me know what they think.
I'm trying to get published, which hasn't been an easy task. Still, hopefully one day, and with positive word of mouth, I can hopefully get this on the book shelves one day.
