Vsited the set earlier this week thanks to the incredibly generous folks at Fox, and I'm happy to report it's looking very, very good. The director, Joe Lynch, is just as much of a horror geek, if not more, than anyone who would post here (indeed he's been a fan since the old days) and everyone on set was incredibly psyched to be a part of it.

I'll have the full set visit ready shortly after we launch, but I just thought I should let you all know not to discount it just because it's DTV and the questionable plot synopsis; so far it's sounding better than the first.

Also, got this;

That's me with Henry Rollins, by the by...

Sounds good, JB!

Nice shot of Rollins! Is he involved with the film?

I don't care if it acted visceral - the first movie was nothing more than a cliched, teeny-bopper Hollywood movie. I have little hope for a DTV sequel.

Somebody make 'Off Season' dammit! Now that would be a REAL cannibal movie!

Thanks, Tobe. I was being lazy and making Butane work since all he talks about is how bored he is. Laughing

Yep, he plays the host of the reality show that is dropped in the mutant's territory. According to pretty much everyone on set, he's an incredible badass, too. Worth seeing it for that alone, if you ask me.

Oh, and WIB? Park 5 bikes here!

I'll watch it even though I thought the first one was just ok.

Now why no coverage for I'll Always Know What You Did Last Summer.... Razz

Hmmm... reality TV? Does not sound too encouraging to me.

I have kept an open mind to DTV since "Dagon", but only time will tell.

I liked the first one and will check this out. The plot synopsis doesn't sound too promising, but like I said, I'll still check it out... Cool

I thought the first one was a ton of fun, and nice and gory. Not real deep or anything, but well done.

I'm firing up a double feature "Johnny Mnemonic" and "The Chase" as I type this!

Hank kicks ass, but a reality TV premise? That didn't exactly work for "Halloween 668: The Webcam of Michael Myers."

The first one was fun, missing out of seeing Eliza Dushku is made up for with HANK! (though he's looking reeeeeeeeeally old).

I'm sure this'll be straight to DVD but I'll definately be checking it out.
