Either I'm not looking hard enough, or there aren't any threads about this comic.
And I have to ask.
WHY?
This series is fucking excellent, period.
I can't express how hilarious it is to see Ash reacting to the Marvel superheroes.
SPOILERS
I laughed at this line from Ash upon coming across The Punisher.
"What's your name?"
"The Punisher."
"Of Course."
And I was in tears when the Punisher went ballistic on the zombies leaving Ash to hand him off ammo, and then to see him fall prey to the zombies as Ash took off running with his ammo in his arms.
And the closer to the second issue was classic.

I love it so far myself!!!! I have the first issue in the series,Its like a match made in heaven!!! I love the whole marvel zombie idea and then add alittle ash, who could ask for anything more!

It's killer! Stupid pompous superheros didn't believe Ash until they all turned into Deadites! assholes..
If anyone comes across this in a book store definately pick it up. I just started reading it. As if the original volumes of Marvel Zombies weren't entertaining enough.

This is just a killer book. Soooo much better than the first "Marvel Zombie" go round. Lots of tongue-in-cheek stuff as well as referances to the Marvel Universe as well as the Evil Dead Universe. And look close dear reader to all of the panels. They take swipes at the DC characters too.
Absolutely a must read!! |
