Lights Out Star Meredith Hagner Kills Zombies with Her Sister Lucy Griffiths After Their Awakening

The CW has its zombie slaying sisters, and here’s hoping they do so in the gooiest of fashions. “Supernatural” has paved the way for headshots and other bits of televised violence so you never know!
According to Deadline “Lights Out” co-star Meredith Hagner has been cast as the second lead opposite Lucy Griffiths in The CW’s zombie thriller “Awakening”.
The project, from WBTV and Reveille, is about two sisters (Griffiths, Hagner) coming of age and facing off against one another amidst the beginning of a zombie uprising. TV veteran David Von Ancken (“Californication,” “The Vampire Diaries,” “Heroes,” “The Shield,” “OZ,” “Memphis Beat”, “Hell on Wheels”) will helm the pilot episode. The series is shooting in Toronto.
