In addition, reprintings of Volumes I and II are out as well so if you somehow missed out on this outstanding series, now’s your chance to right that wrong!

On his website Grimly says he can be best described as a storyteller. For almost two decades, his distinctive style, displayed in many forms, has captivated a variety of loyal fans worldwide. Originally recognized for his dark, yet humorous illustrations for young readers, Grimly continues to transcend as an artist through writing, conceptual art, contemporary painting, fashion design, and film.

Gris Grimly’s Wicked Nursery Rhymes III
Gris Grimly presents a third collection of reimagined classic children’s rhymes combining macabre humor with masterful illustrations. Be prepared to view Wee Willie Winkle, Baa Baa Black Sheep, Crooked Man, Mary and her little lamb, and Little Boy Blue in a new light… a murky, sinister light.

Gris Grimly’s Wicked Nursery Rhymes II
This entertaining collection unveils eight all-new, fiendishly illustrated cautionary tales exploring the dark underbelly of childhood. Childhood standards, including Little Jack Horner, Solomon Grundy, and Three Blind Mice, are retold as dark and sinister rhymes about atrociously mannered children who meet particularly unpleasant fates. Fans of Edward Gorey and Roald Dahl will feel right at home among Gris Grimly’s misbehavers. Gris’ extraordinary vision will deliciously haunt the imaginations of adults and alternative kids alike.
