If you’re the type who likes to plan ahead, then you have a little over a year to get ready for A Quiet Place, which finds John Krasinski directing and co-starring with his wife, Emily Blunt, in their first feature film together.

Word has come out of CinemaCon, via Deadline, that Paramount has dated the film for April 13, 2018. Its competition so far includes an untitled Universal Monster movie.

Along with the aforementioned director/actor duties, Krasinksi is writing the Paramount/Platinum Dunes supernatural thriller, marking his third directorial effort and first for a major studio.

Michael Bay will produce along with his partners, Andrew Form and Brad Fuller of Platinum Dunes. Scott Beck and Bryan Woods wrote the earlier draft. Krasinski and his Sunday Night partner, Allyson Seeger, will serve as executive producers alongside Beck and Woods.

Other than the catch-all “supernatural thriller” tag, plot details are unknown. A Quiet Place goes into production this fall.
