We’re just a day away from the After Dark Originals making their way into theatres, and to get you in a splattery good mood for the event, we have a couple of exclusive stills for ya! Dig it!
Tapping into the vast and innovative talent of directors and filmmakers from Horrorfest’s acquisitions over the past four years, After Dark has taken the horror festival concept to a higher level. After Dark Originals showcases eight new cutting edge horror films spanning the genre. The mission is to create high quality horror films that provide After Dark full control from script concept through final editing.
Synopsis
The story sees five friends on a weekend trip who become stranded in isolated farmland when crows attack their SUV. They soon realize that the cornfields are inhabited by reanimated human scarecrows who reproduce by killing and forcing their undead victims to join their ranks.
In Husk Devon Graye plays the brainiac of the group, C. J. Thomason is the blue-collar guy, and Wes Chatham is the jock. Brett Simmons (interview here) directs.
