Rest in Peace: Blake Edwards

Rest in Peace: Blake EdwardsAnother of Hollywood’s great ones has passed on as today the film community mourns the loss of one its most respected, honored, and prolific filmmakers, Blake Edwards.

Edwards died on Wednesday night due to complications from pneumonia at the ripe old age of 88. While known mostly for his madcap writing of the Pink Panther film series and such fine films as Victor/Victoria and of course Breakfast At Tiffany’s, Edwards did dabble in our genre with 1962’s Experiment in Terror, which he directed.

At this time we here at Dread Central would like to extend our deepest condolences to Blake’s friends, family, and constituents.

Thanks so much for all the smiles, old friend. See you on the other side.
