Call me sentimental, but there’s something immensely satisfy about seeing fountains of blood being splashed across blankets of snow.
There’s a huge amount of both blood and snow in the latest trailer for Vikings – Wolves of Midgard, in which two ancient Scandinavian warriors unleash hell on both human enemies and mythological creatures. There are severed limbs and entrails flying in every direction, not to mention some particularly brutal finishing moves featuring slow-motion dismemberment.
In addition to wielding physical weapons, you’ll also be able to unleash destructive spells upon your foes, and seeing as it’s an RPG, all your weapons and abilities will be fully customization and upgradable.
Kalypso Media will be bringing Vikings – Wolves of Midgard to PC, PS4 and Xbox One early this year. And did I mention the slow-mention dismemberment?
