Now if there were only games to play on it that weren't already out on other, cheaper consoles.

Game publishers are some of the hardest folks to get stuff from to review or even give away for contests.

Yet Sony is going to release another version of the PS3 with an 80gb hard drive for $599 and for a limited time a game will be included with it.

$100 for an extra 20gb? That does not compute, especially after the limited time offer stops and the game is no longer pack with the new model. Or maybe this limited edition will go away all together afer a while. Either way it will be interesting to watch the Sony fans who once barked at MS's multi-console idea will defend this new turn of events.

Yeah, I think many of us have sung that song to death. I do really wish Sony would start modeling their business motto more towards their customers than total home entertainment media domination. Playstation consumers want games, not a cheap computer.

Shit I just wanted the BR drive that was/is in their $1,000 stand alone player.
Yikes the only game I own is ULTIMATE ALLIANCE and the only one I'm looking foreward to is Stranglehold. I'm really not a gamer.  |
