Okay, am I the only person on here absolutely SALIVATING for this book? I have been re-reading the series and am still astounded by just how entertaining the entire series is. The seeds that she lays in the earlier books come to great fruition in general. The characters are great, the concept, the stories, and especially the arc. For a while I thought she was full of it saying that she had it planned out all along, but the more I read the books the more I believe it. So stoked.

SPOILERS (in case you are trying hard to avoid any news and go in as fresh as possible)

I have heard that so far "more than two characters die." Damn. I mean seriously, now that it is concluding she does not seem to be drawing punches. I say Voldemort is a given, but beyond that I only have guesses.

I can't wait. Next week, baby!

Even though I only recently got into the books, it'll be hard to say goodbye to the series.

Cannot wait myself. Been catching up on the series the last few weeks. Still just as riveting as the first time I read em.

I really can't wait. I also can't believe it's going to be the last... but then, I did read an interview where Rowling was asked if there was a possibility of another and she said "never say never". So who knows.

I really need to re-read five and six before this one comes out. I've almost completely forgotten what happens in the sixth.

Already have 2 copies (one for me, one for Jim) and the audio CD pre-ordered at my local Borders where I'll be picking them up on Friday night at midnight. Mr. Green
I am BEYOND psyched. I can't wait! I can't wait! I can't wait!

lolzorz! Luckily with the last book I had been cut off from civilization for 2 weeks in advance, then hauled up sick for 2 days and read it. The ONLY way to read new Harry Potter; spoiler free, running to the bathroom between chapters, and thinking your head was about to explode (I do not fuck around with getting sick).

Yeah, after the whole Dumbledore thing with the sixth book I'm steering clear of HP websites.
Three more days, by the way. Very Happy

Me too. I'm even afraid of overhearing ANYTHING from ANYONE.
That's why I'm picking up the book at midnight, going home, and reading it all day Saturday.

Same.

I do not want it ruined.

I'm rereading the 6th book right now.

For the past 6 months or so, I've been listening to all six books on CD on my way to and from work.

I re-read books 5 and 6 last week so I'm all ready for 7. A friend asked me to come visit her on Saturday and I asked if she was crazy! My only plan this weekend is to read the new book.

I've heard rumors about who dies in this book and if they are true I am NOT happy with one and not surprised with the other.

I won't get my copy at midnight tonight. I'll get up early tomorrow and pick it up at 9. that way I'm all fresh for a full day of reading. And I should get a new box of tissues. I am sure I'll be bawling my eyes out.
