You know what? There were lots of games I've been looking forward to A LOT these last few weeks that I bought -- Shadowrun, Monster Madness, etc.

I'd never even heard of Call of Juarez, and literally I bought it because I dug the cover. I figured since the last two games I bought sucked ... why not go for the triple threat of bad? LOL

No, seriously, I figured CoJ would be a good time killer until The Darkness and Overlord came out. Man was I wrong.

Call of Juarez is awesome. Probably the best game I got within the last three months! I love it, and for me it came out of no where. YAY weeks of gaming mediocrity going bye-bye!

The only thing that hurts the game is the forced stealth and dodgy platforming.

But then, what other game are you going to be able to hold a bible in one hand and a six-shooter in the other?

I dunno why, but every time I've seen the game, I keep thinking GUN.

It has its pros and cons much like gun did. The FPS aspects of Juarez a better than Gun, but the horse riding parts aren't. However, the graphics are much more next gen than Gun.

It's LIGHTYEARS better than Gun.

I actually like the stealth missions. The platforming with the whip, I can live without!
