With October 1st merely a few weeks away, things are heating up for seasonal haunts across the country, and Haunted Hayride (one of the biggest) is teasing a “tense, gritty, and brutal” expansion in both size and narrative for its bi-coastal (now in both Los Angeles and New York) attraction. ABOUT THE LOS ANGELES HAUNTED HAYRIDE:
Ten Thirty One Productions (TTO) is excited to announce the return of the Los Angeles Haunted Hayride coming this October. TTO will be bringing its biggest and best scares to both coasts for the most unique and immersive Halloween experience in town.

Los Angeles Haunted Hayride returns to its darker and more disturbing roots with the announcement of this year’s brand new and most innovated theme to date, Secret Society. The Secret Society will unveil two different experiences, Elite or Deranged. Your status will choose your path and experience throughout this 30-acre live attraction. For the first time ever, Hayriders will leave the safety of their wagons to confront their Secret Society initiation on foot, closer than ever to the inhabitants of the corn maze. Hayride regulars may recognize some ghosts of Hayrides past, which will benefit them in making it to the end of their initiation.

“I feel like a kid at Christmas. Our Hayriders are going to have the time of their lives being part of our Secret Society of Halloween. We’ve just raised the bar so high on ourselves. The moment our guests enter our gates, they are members, part of our secret society, our world,” explains TTO CEO and Haunted Hayride Founder Melissa Carbone.

Fan favorite Trick or Treat will be returning in double the size this year and three times the mischief as the suburb of Hell welcomes trick or treaters to knock on their doors! House of Shadows will also take on a new sinister force as NBCUniversal takes over the space in the newly named Ouija 2: House of Shadows. In the first partnership of this kind that the LA Haunted Hayride has ever allowed, unsuspecting patrons will be trapped in an extremely dark, almost blacked-out walkthrough of a colossally possessed demonic house.

If you’ve ever thought about going to Los Angeles Haunted Hayride, this is the year to do it.

ABOUT THE NEW YORK HAUNTED HAYRIDE:
Ten Thirty One Productions (TTO) is excited to announce the return of the New York Haunted Hayride coming this October. If the newly unveiled official artwork of the season is any indication, praying is what New Yorkers will certainly be doing.

New York Haunted Hayride is back bigger than ever for its second year featuring three zones with more vicious, disturbing, and haunting experiences! A higher octane horror program of ghostly apparitions, demonic possession, backwoods hillbilly country, slaying and flaying, even the good ole friendly neighborhood ice cream ripper will just get you started down a brutal ride.

The legendary House of Shadows will make its debut at the NY Haunted Hayride by hurling guests into a sea of darkness with nothing but the hands in front of their faces and a whole lot of evil lurking around them. The magical orange glow, smell of hay, and feel of fog from the Purgatory Haunted Village will give guests an antique world feel from Halloween of the olden days with physics, The Bootique, Grub Shack for grub, drinks, and some of the most eye-popping performers you’ll ever see. The famous Theater Macabre will showcase iconic scenes from legendary horror films with one little twist… the audience members are the stars.

“This year’s content is dense, gritty, and brutal. We’re growing this attraction at a faster pace than we did in Los Angeles, so I’m elated that our dark maze is going to make its debut and undoubtedly get more than a few New Yorkers’ pants soiled. The attraction is going to be extraordinary, gorgeous, and disturbing,” explains TTO CEO and Haunted Hayride Founder Melissa Carbone.

Haunting in New York (Randall’s Island, 1 Randalls Island Park, New York, NY 10035) will begin October 7, 2016, and will be open from Thursday through Sunday, October 7th-31st, 2016. General Admission is $37, and VIP passes that bypass the line are $55. Visit newyorkhauntedhayride.com for complete details.
