The new trailer for Manhunt 2 looks bad-ass. I'm glad I still have my slim PS2. Smile

I heard from a friend in the UK who's played it and he said it owns, which is badass news cause i really haven't been thrilled with what I've seen so far.

The original Manhunt is one of my favorite games evar!!
So I can't wait to buy this and go through all the fear and insanity again.
The original was so cool.

I'll be picking this one up on PSP. Lately, that's the only system I play. Sitting outside in my backyard at night, smoking cigs and afghan hash, playing MANHUNT 2 on a hand held... it works for me.

In case you haven't already heard, and it you haven't, shame on you for not reading the front page, this game have been banned in the UK and Ireland. This totally sucks, I was so looking forwards to playing this game.

Anyone know if the PSP version is going to be the same as the PS2 one, if the ban stays I'm just going to order the PSP version since the PSP is region free.

It's going to be identical. I spoke to the Rockstar sales rep during last month's Fangoria convention and she said it's the same exact game. The only version that will be slightly different is the Wii. A few different weapons to make use of the controller, and a few other small changes as well. I even got to play it for awhile on the Wii during the show. It rocked! Especially on the large screens they had.

I wasn't 100% sold on the screenshots I'd seen, but playing it is a whole different experience. The industrial, atmospheric MUSIC is very important to the game. Just like in the first one, that John Carpenter synth score returns, but it's much harsher, much more violent. It's killing music, there's just no other way to say it.

And man, oh man, does it work. Thumbs Up

In that case I'll be sitting outside in my backyard at night, smoking cigs and afghan hash, playing TEKKEN on a hand held... it still works for me.

It's out today. The horrible filter effects that Rockstar used to hide the gore scenes have ruined this for me. The visuals look awful with those annoying blinking colors. Until there's a non-filtered version available, or unless someone here tells me the game itself is still worth playing, I'm gonna skip it.

Too bad. I really wanted this to rock. Sad

There's a rumor that you can get rid of the filter by entering a GameShark cheat....I'll have to try that out Smile

Has anyone heard if the PSP version is also censored? That Rockstar exec I spoke to at the last Fango con said they would be identical, but that was before the nonsense with the censorship and ratings problem.

Is there no chance of this coming out on PC, especially considering the censorship issue?
