Confirmed! Toxic Avenger Remake On Its Way!

Yep! It’s happening! The Titan of Tromaville will soon be gearing himself up for a big budget remake that’s likely to change the face of tutu wearing mop wielding deformed mutant super heroes forever!
In a story confirmed by Deadline New York but originally reported by Arrow in the Head it has been officially confirmed that Charlie Corwin’s Original Media, a partnership with Dutch reality TV giant Endemol, has financed the acquisition of rights to Troma’s The Toxic Avenger franchise that includes four sequels, an animated TV series and comic books.
In a strange (yet somewhat sensible) twist the group intends to turn Toxie into a green superhero for these environmentally conscious times. Guess we wont be seeing any hot chicks masturbating to pictures of run over children, eh? Stay tuned for more as it comes!
