Splatterhouse returns to the videogame market thanks to the Wii's Virtual Console.

This version is the good old TG-16 port that I fondly remember playing non-stop during my summer vacations as a kid. It is difficult for me to even think of another horror game that came close to being as creepy as the original Splatterhouse. Resident Evil never did anything for me, but something about a guy with a bag on his head and chainsaws for hands got the fear going.

Damnit, this got me all excited that there was a new chapter of the game coming out!!! I already have ROMs for all three games on my laptop.

Maybe if it sells well enough we'll get our Splatterhouse 4!!!

This coupled witht he fact that they're adding the first Fire Pro Wrestling game in Japan gives me great hope for the Wii. Now, if they'd only localize the damn thing and bring it over here.
