The Walking Dead – Speculation on Disturbing Season 6 Finale

The latter half of the current season of “The Walking Dead” has been building towards a bloody battle between Rick’s gang and the so-called Saviors, and I don’t think it’s any secret at this point that Negan is set to make an appearance in the finale. But is he going to kill one of our heroes? And if so, which one?

Today brings a potential spoiler. So turn away now if you want to know NOTHING.

You have been warned.

Per Vanity Fair, star Lauren Cohan recently told “Entertainment Tonight” that the 90-minute Season 6 finale is going to be “the cliff-hangerest episode” to date, and leaked plot details suggest that Cohan wasn’t kidding. According to what the site dug up, the finale may end with Negan swinging his trademark baseball bat at the head of a character whose identity will not be revealed until the show returns for its seventh season.

According to the leak, after Negan plays a game of ‘eenie, meenie, miney, moe’ with some of our favorite characters, the camera shifts to the victim’s point of view,” writes Vanity Fair. “In other words, we’ll see Negan swing the bat towards the camera, and then, after the episode cuts to black, we will spend seven months arguing over which character—Abraham, Daryl, Maggie, Glenn, etc.—was on the receiving end.”

Of course, this information could be totally wrong so take it with a grain of salt.

In the interim, here’s a sneak peek at the penultimate Episode 6.15, entitled “East.”
