Just finished The Rising and City of the Dead within a week. Great books both. Though the end of the latter seemed a little ... abrupt. Almost like Keene was saying "Fuck you!" to those who bitched about the lack of closure on the original.

That small gripe aside, thoroughly recommended. I'll be reading anything and everything he comes out with from this point.

GHOUL is now out. I just started it and it's another good one.

Yep, good stuff. My review for Ghoul is up if you're interested...

Yep, just read your review. Sounds like a cracker. I'll be ordering Ghoul with my next purchase from Amazon (since nothing decent seems to get released here in Aus).

I really liked Terminal. The Rising, and City of the Dead didn't really keep my interest. I have Ghoul but have yet to read it yet. I will after I finish Waggoner's Like Death, which is very good.

Don't forget the Conqueror Worms, Mary. I think it's a pretty good one.

Great review, JB. I'd give it the same score. A must read, for sure.
