I still can't believe I have never watched this show. And I always shy away from it because I have a thing about trying to get into a show I've already missed a season or two of.

I have got to get around to it.

Amen brother, AMEN!

I'd make 10. Heroes on my list though, but the other nine would be BSG. Best damned show on TV. And it's Joss Whedon approved!

I don't have cable but...
1. DOCTOR WHO(S1+2 on DVD)
and I can't believe I have avoided BG for so long-I EVEN got a sampler when I bought a Family Guy season(which I never watched-if I did'nt pay for it I can't care for it)..

Seriously I thought it was a SG-1 kinda thing. Damn the stigma of Sci-Fi channel.

I guess I'll have to start from the beginning...

1 Dexter
2 Weeds
3 24
4 Heroes
5 Boston Legal
6 Medium
7 Supernatural
8 The Closer
9 ER
10 (tie) Meerkat Manor/Entourage

I still watch Lost, but unless something major happens soon, it'll just keep dropping farther and farther down the list. And Masters of Horror is just too dang inconsistent to make the cut.

I don't watch much TV but here it goes

1. Dexter (This is only number one because I actually watched it on TV)
2. Battlestar Galactica
3. Scrubs

The last two I didn't actually watch on TV but bought the previous seasons and have been trying to play catch up.

Can't believe I'd never payed any attention to them.
Now I have to do the same to Heros.

Hmm....I tend to watch my tv on dvd so I can sit down and watch enormously large doses of good shows. I sat through seasons 1 and 2 of Lost in one week. It's just my style. I tend to miss things when they air because I work insanely long hours and find myself with little to no time.

That being said, here's what I've enjoyed this year (on tv and dvd):

1. The Muppet Show Season 1
2. Animaniacs Season 1
3. Dexter (I have on demand)
4. Weeds (another on demand fave)
5. Big Love (on demand again)
6. Saturday Night Live - the first season (great dvd set - I highly recommend it)
7. the original unedited Star Wars films - FINALLY and I realize that's not tv but it's Star Wars and gets a mention because I'm a silly fangirl)
8. Lost seasons 1 and 2 - I'll catch Season 3 on dvd

And Battlestar Galactica...i have yet to watch it but it's on my amazon.com wish list. I've heard nothing but amazing things about that show and I was always an insane Star Trek fan - everyone keeps telling me about how awesome it is so it looks like that might be my next purchase.

To be honest about the only shows I watch are on adult swim. So I'm just picking their line-up and leaving it at that. Oh, and the Daily Show and Colbert Nation.
