Hannibal – Will Marries Nina Arianda

Well, at least the character of Will played by Hugh Dancy did! That’s right, kids! On tap right now we have some fresh casting news for “Hannibal.” TVLine is reporting that Tony winner Nina Arianda — Dancy’s leading lady in Broadway’s Venus in Fur — is joining the acclaimed NBC thriller’s Season 3 cast as Will’s new bride.
Arianda’s recurring character, Molly, will be introduced in Episode 8, an installment that will jump ahead several years to allow for the transformation in Will’s personal life.
Single mom Molly is described as a strong, vibrant thirtysomething who is not only unperturbed by her husband’s dark and occasionally tortured past — but has worked to help him overcome it. She “understands that Will is a good Venusman, and her love has allowed him to rebuild himself. But when Will is asked to return to the FBI, she also urges him to try and save lives, knowing what risks this entails.”
NBC entertainment chairman Robert Greenblatt announced at the Television Critics Association 2014 Winter Press Tour that Season 3 of the dark drama will premiere “this summer” with no firm date announced just yet.
