Nomad has written in with yet another description of some of the eye candy that was shown at this year’s New York Comic Con. Read on to see what was on tap for the sequel to The Collector, Marcus Dunstan’s The Collection.

Footage Description
Two girls and a guy walk down a glossy alleyway. The trio are dressed for clubbing but are draped in shadow. One of the girls mentions that the club is password only… the word being “Nevermore.” Just then a door bursts open on the left and an industrial-style, heavily pierced man stands there glaring. The moment lasts a few beats before one of the girls steps forward, gathers her courage and says “Nevermore.” The man raises his hand and triggers a metal door to their right and music is heard from within. The door attendant heads back behind his door and the trio enter the club.

The music is pounding dancey fare set against a sea of undulating young bodies. The trio slide right in and get to dancing. The boy in the group takes a shot of something potent from a girl with a water pistol. The blonde of the three is pulled away from the boy she is making out with by the short haired girl. The girl turns to walk away, thinks better of it and returns to pop the boy in the nose, then storms off. The blonde laughs at the scene and gives the guy the finger before heading after her friend. The short haired girl pauses as if she might wait for her friend but then disappears around a corner. The blonde loses her and goes the other way.

From here the short haired girl dips into a green door and closes it behind her, visibly shaken. She notices the case from the first film in the middle of the room… and it stirs. She pops the case open and a bloodied man spills out yelling GET DOWN!! Something like a harpoon shoots across the room and triggers a series gears and what not. The man is urging the short haired girl to stay down but she runs from him and loses a bracelet which the man picks up. She runs from the room. We see lines triggering devices around the club… under… over… doors begin to slam… a large door slides down. All exits are sealed. Then a giant combine roars to life overhead. You can only imagine what is coming. While the devices are triggering, we see the collector somewhere in the rafters overseeing his handiwork. The blades get up to speed and begin to descend toward the dance floor. Only the makeout boy, nursing a bloody nose, notices and once he realizes the blades are descending, he makes a break for it, rudely knocking people out of his way. The blades drop down in pursuit, mowing through the dancers who only seem to notice at the very last second. People are diced… the makeout boy hits the floor and loses some fingers… and the sexy DJ has her head lopped off. The blades complete their run and the room is waist deep in gore.
