Netflix’s LOCKE & KEY Adds 3 New Series Regulars

Production on Netflix’s Locke & Key season 2 recently resumed despite COVID-19. And today we hear Aaron Ashmore and Hallea Jones have been promoted to series regulars for season 2, along with newcomer Brendan Hines (The Tick).

Hines will play Josh Bennett, a charismatic and mysterious new history teacher at Matheson Academy with a secret agenda. Meanwhile, Ashmore will return as Duncan Locke with Jones as Eden Hawkins. Liyou Abere (The Boys) will guest star as Amie Bennett, a spirited 11-year-old who becomes fast friends with Bode and an ally against the evil forces threatening the Lockes.

They join returning cast Darby Stanchfield, Connor Jessup, Emilia Jones, Jackson Robert Scott, Laysla De Oliveira, Petrice Jones, Bill Heck, Thomas Mitchell Barnett, Sherri Saum, Coby Bird, Jesse Camacho, Asha Bromfield, and Griffin Gluck.

Showrunners Carlton Cuse and Meredith Averill exec produce with Aron Eli Coleite, Joe Hill, Chris Ryall, Lydia Antonini, Ted Adams, David Alpert, Rick Jacobs, Lindsey Springer, John Weber, Kevin Lafferty, and Andy and Barbara Muschietti (IT).
