SCREAM 5 Crew Tested Positive for COVID-19 This Weekend

Production kicked off last week on Scream 5, and this weekend they had three crew members test positive for COVID-19. That said, the crew that tested positive were not in the “primary pod” of cast and crew so shooting resumes this morning.
Thank God.
Jenna Ortega joins the killer cast which includes franchise favorites such as Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, David Arquette, and Marley Shelton, along with series newcomers such as Jack Quaid, Melissa Barrera, Dylan Minnette, Mason Gooding, Kyle Gallner, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Sonia Ammar, and Mikey Madison.
Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett (Ready or Not) direct from a script by James Vanderbilt (Zodiac) and Guy Busick (Castle Rock). Kevin Williamson and Chad Villella, are executive producing with Vanderbilt, Paul Neinstein and William Sherak producing. Casting is underway on the flick which shoots in North Carolina this fall.
