New Observer: System Redux Trailer Shows Just How Pretty Next Gen Can Be

When you buy the new console, you really want to make sure you get everything out of it. Observer was already a looker when it came out back in 2017. However, with the new consoles on the way, Bloober Team is making it look even better with Observer: System Redux.

The latest trailer shows off several of the new graphical changes made. One of the biggest improvements is the game’s lighting system. Bloober team notes that not only will this make the game look prettier, but also they can use the improved lighting to help point people around and make sure they get to specific areas that they need to be. Parts of the video were also used to show off the new 4k textures for the environments, along with the character models that have been totally rebuilt from the ground up.

If you haven’t played Observer yet, the game follows Dan Lazarski, played by Blade Runner actor Rutger Hauer. He’s an Observer, which allows him to jump into the memories of people. When his son goes missing in an apartment complex, he starts investigating it in an effort to find out what happened to him. Along the way, Dan gets more than he bargained for, and soon he’s involved in something far more dangerous.

If you want to grab Observer now, the game is currently available on Steam, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Observer: System Redux will be coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X some time this year.
