This Day in Horror History: Happy Birthday, Woody Harrelson!

On this day in horror history, the one and only, Woody Harrelson aka Woodrow Tracy Harrelson was born in Midland, Texas in 1961.

His is best known around these parts for his role in Zombieland and Zombieland: Double Tap with Jesse Eisenberg and Emma Stone.

He has also starred in such genre fare as Natural Born Killers, No Country for Old Men, Transsiberian, Venom, War for the Planet of the Apes, and Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri with Frances McDormand.

He has also starred in many mainstream classic flicks such as White Men Can’t Jump, Indecent Proposal, The Cowboy Way, Money Train, The People vs. Larry Flynt, Kingpin, Play It to the Bone, A Scanner Darkly, Seven Psychopaths, Solo: A Star Wars Story, and The Highway Men.

Not to mention roles in The Hunger Games, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1, and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2. And Now You See Me and Now You See Me 2.

He can be seen next as Cletus Kasady / Carnage in director Andy Serkis’ Venom: Let There Be Carnage with Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock.
