Stephen King Recommends HANNA on Amazon Prime

Created and written by David Farr, the second season of Amazon Prime’s Hanna TV series premiered on July 3. And today, none other than Stephen King recommends you should give the series its day in court.

Based on the 2011 film, Hanna is part high-concept thriller, part coming-of-age drama and follows an extraordinary girl who has been raised in the forest, evading the relentless pursuit of an off-the-book CIA agent, and her journey as she tries to unearth the truth behind who she is.
The eight-episode first season was directed by Sarah Adina Smith and stars Esme Creed-Miles, Joel Kinnaman, and Mireille Enos.
The first season sports a 67% approval rating over on Rotten Tomatoes with a Critics Consensus that reads: A gritty reimagining of the 2011 film, Hanna adds new wrinkles to the mythology and texture to the titular assassin — though the series’ long-winded journey may try the patience of viewers who want their violent fables concise.
