Junkie XL Currently Scoring GODZILLA VS. KONG

Adam Wingard’s Godzilla Vs Kong is rated PG-13 for intense sequences of creature violence and destruction. And fittingly, it looks like the film has snagged Mad Max: Fury Road and Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice composer Junkie XL (aka Tom Holkenborg) to provide the score.

Junkie XL has also provided the scores for flicks such as Deadpool, Justice League, Mortal Engines, Alita: Battle Angel, Tomb Raider, Sonic the Hedgehog, The Dark Tower, and Terminator: Dark Fate.

Up next is Zack Snyder’s balls-to-the-wall Netflix zombie movie Army of the Dead with Dave Bautista, Ana de la Reguera, and Garret Dillahunt.

A sequel to Godzilla: King of the Monsters and Kong: Skull Island, it begins in a time when monsters walk the Earth, and humanity’s fight for its future sets Godzilla and Kong on a collision course that will see the two most powerful forces of nature on the planet collide in a spectacular battle for the ages. As Monarch embarks on a perilous mission into uncharted terrain and unearths clues to the Titans’ origins, a conspiracy threatens to wipe the creatures from the face of the earth forever.

Directed by Adam Wingard, the film stars Millie Bobby Brown, Kyle Chandler, Julian Dennison, Brian Tyree Henry, Demian Bichir, Alexander Skarsgard, Eisa Gonzalez, Jessica Henwick, Rebecca Hall, and Lance Reddick. It’s set to hit in 2D, 3D, and IMAX on November 20, 2020.
