Some filmmakers have been spinning their wheels during quarantine, while others have been producing shorts and PSAs to keep themselves busy. And then there’s David Lynch who seems to be launching a new career as a weatherman!
The mastermind behind Twin Peaks and films like Wild at Heart and Lost Highway has been giving daily weather reports from the city of Los Angeles for the past week. Each is less than a minute long and seem to consist of little more than Lynch looking out the window. A blue filter gives everything a quite Lynchian aesthetic!

There’s no telling how long Lynch plans to moonlight as a meteorologist, but fans of the iconic director should definitely be following DAVID LYNCH THEATER on YouTube!
