Stop the Nightmare: ELM STREET Stars Unite for Coronavirus PSA

As we (somewhat) gets over the Coronavirus pandemic, A Nightmare on Elm Street stars Heather Langenkamp, Lisa Wilcox, Mark Patton, Andras Jones, Ken Sagoes, Brooke Theiss, Toy Newkirk, and Brooke Bundy have shared a PSA encouraging fans to “Stop the Nightmare.”

The video features a new COVID-19 spin on the good old “One, two, Freddy’s coming for you” tune. “1, 2… COVID’s Not The Flu … 3, 4… Wash Your Hands Some More … 5, 6… Zoom Your Therapist … 7, 8… Don’t Congregate … 9, 10… Never See Your Friends.”

Check it out below.

In Wes Craven’s classic slasher film, several Midwestern teenagers fall prey to Freddy Krueger (Robert Englund), a disfigured midnight mangler who preys on the teenagers in their dreams — which, in turn, kills them in reality. After investigating the phenomenon, Heather Langenkamp begins to suspect that a dark secret kept by her and her friends’ parents may be the key to the mystery, but can Nancy and her boyfriend (Johnny Depp) solve the puzzle before it’s too late?
