WRATH: Aeon of Ruin Gets First Major Early Access Update

When WRATH: Aeon of Ruin hit Early Access in November, no one that that a game on the Quake engine could look and feel that badass. Developer KillPixel Games was out to prove that you could keep it old school and still feel fresh. The game has grown a huge following in Early Access. Fans have waited patiently for the next major content update. As of today, players will be able to dive back into Wrath for a whole new chunk of content.

Simply titled Content Update #1, this new chapter brings a whole new zone, enemy, and Artifact to the world of Wrath: Aeon of Ruin. Players will now be able to tackle the challenges of the Gardens. A gigantic ancient facility once designed for bountiful harvests, the Gardens are now laden with rust and overgrown with rotting plant life. New to this zone is the Wretch. You can see it in the trailer above blasting energy out of its core. To turn the tides in your favor, the new Confounding Attar Artifact will allow the Outlander to pit foes against each other. These are all things I like.

If you haven’t had the chance to check it out yet, you can find Wrath: Aeon of Ruin now on Steam for $25. While only available on PC at the moment, Wrath: Aeon of Ruin is coming to Xbox One, PS4, and Switch later this year.
