Video Updates Status of Announced HELLRAISER Reboot & TV Series

Last May, word came down that David S. Goyer (the man behind the Blade films as well as The Unborn and producer of The Forest) had been hired by Spyglass to pen a new Hellraiser movie.

Then, in June came news that Hellraiser’s iconic “Hell Priest” (aka “Pinhead”) would be getting his own TV series.

Over six months later, it’s time to ask ourselves, “What the Hellraiser is going on?” It wouldn’t be the first time Clive Barker-related projects have been announced, only to fizzle out (remember when we were promised a Nightbreed TV series–and then a Weaveworld TV series?). So what’s the status? Enter Mr. H, one of Dread Central’s favorite UK film critics and academics.
