Joining the already in the works big budget Dracula Year Zero from director Gary Shore and Vlad, written by “Sons of Anarchy”‘s Charlie Hunnam, is yet another look at the famed fanged freak; and we’ve got your first details right here.

According to Deadline (appropriate, no?) Sony Pictures has acquired a pitch from scribe Jason Keller (Machine Gun Preacher) for a period origin story on the Dracula mythology that will be produced by Joe Roth and Palak Patel.

While details are scarce at the moment, we’ll keep our noses to the grindstone and see if we can dig up anything else for you cats. Stay tuned!
