Silent Night, Deadly Podcast: Ep14 – A CHRISTMAS SLAY (2015)

You asked for it, Bill Goldberg asked for it, Krampus asked for it, and now Dread Central is proud to present the year-round Christmas horror podcast you’ve long been waiting for…Silent Night, Deadly Podcast! Chris, Kieran, Matt and Rob – collectively known as “The Jingle Boys” – are prepared to take you on one demented journey through a winter wonderland of the best and worst tinsel terror the big (and small) screen has to offer.

This week the boys tackle Steve Davis’ A Christmas Slay, which is certainly no hidden gem. This bottom-of-the-barrel Xmas slasher releases a mute killer dressed as Santa into the Scottish Highlands, where three indistinguishable vacationing females are staying. He begins preying on the occupants of Mistletoe Lodge, but the film is nothing more than a mess of low-budget ineptitude from effects to camera work to action – you name. A Christmas miracle? More like a Christmas disaster.

Suffice it to say this isn’t a very jolly episode, faithful listener (we assume there’s only one of you). At some point, every one of the Jingle Boys loses their mind while attempting to rationalize how A Christmas Slay came into being. It’s not fun. It’s not scary. It’s not competent. It’s not anything that anyone should watch except those who’ve devoted their lives to Christmas Horror consumption. Let us suffer for your enjoyment.
