We’ve seen the premake and marveled at how good it could have been. Now, with the memory of that box office miss still floating freely in our heads, yet another remake of John Carpenter’s classic The Thing has reared its other heads.
Normally we’d be lighting torches and sharpening pitchforks at this moment, but we’re reasonably sure that after you watch it, and yes, you can watch it right now by hitting the play button below, you’ll be completely on board and even kind of giddy.
Hats off to Lee Hardcastle and everyone who made this truly funny and loving homage possible. This truly is one of the single most classic … ahem … “things” that we’ve seen in a really long time. Enough talk! Dig it!
