Later this month, Ahoy Comics will be releasing issue #5 in their Edgar Allan Poe’s Snifter of Terror series. Today, we’re here to give you an exclusive preview of the comic, which sees writer Peter Milligan and artist Richard Case reinvent Poe’s classic tale The Fall of the House of Usher and adapting it to more modern, and politically relevant, times.
Dubbed The Fall of the White House of President Usher, the story follows a self-proclaimed “democracy-loving liberal” and “bleeding-heart douche” journalist who feels like he was deceived by the promises of the current president. Therefore, after being invited to the White House for a one-on-one interview, he plans on taking matters into his own hands…
