New HELLBOY Trailer Arriving Next Week—Or is it, Mike Mignola?

Earlier this afternoon, Hellboy creator Mike Mignola told his Twitter followers that the next trailer for Neil Marshall’s new Hellboy movie would definitely be dropping at some point next week. He said it was going to be even better than the first trailer. He said—wait a minute, where did that tweet go? That’s right, moments after sending the announcement out to his nearly 100K followers, he took it down.
So, what does it mean? Probably that a new Hellboy trailer is coming down the pike, but the studio didn’t want the pressure of a confirmed deadline. Maybe they were afraid Mignola had set expectations too high. Maybe Mignola was simply wrong. Who the Hell(boy) knows?

I guess we’ll know one way or another by next Friday! While we wait in anticipation, let’s revisit the synopsis and first trailer for Marshall’s Hellboy below.
