Haunted Hill’s Site is Now Live!

I may be alone in this, but I thought William Malone’s House on Haunted Hill remake was actually good. I may be a huge Vincent Price fan, but Geoffrey Rush made the whole thing work out really well. The film delivered the creepy goods and some awesome visuals. Sure, the ending sucked something rotten, but the other 99% was fun.

Eight long years have passed since that time, and it looks as though someone is willing to try revitalizing the franchise with a direct-to-video sequel (Clips on Haunted Hill – August 02, 2007). Director Víctor García is relatively new to the chair, but his short film El Ciclo is a good indication that he’s the right man for the job. We are going to be able to put that theory to the test even further today as Return to House on Haunted Hill‘s official site has just gone live!

In this new site you’ll be able to find a trailer, newsletter, pre-order links, and the synopsis. There’s not a whole lot to do on the site, sadly, but it does let us know there will be a multi-format release on October 14th. That’s good news for us Blu-ray and HD-DVD supporters.

Once you’re done checking out all the features the new site has to offer, head on over to MySpace and make some new ghostly friends.
