Regarding Upcoming Album/Tour Shawn “Clown” Crahan Promises Slipknot Has Never Been Better

Though it’s been 4 years since Slipknot’s last studio album, the band released a video for a new track, “All Out Life”, on Halloween. Since then, we’ve seen a lot of movement on the band’s frontline, with several festival dates announced in the US and abroad in 2019. Everyone is expecting a new album to drop in June, and co-founder/percussionist Shawn “Clown” Crahan just gave our friends at Rock Feed news certain to get Maggots (as their fans are affectionately known) fired up.

Though we still don’t have an exact release date or confirmation of a domestic and/or international tour, Clown promises Slipknot has never been better: Better musically, healthier, and ready to unleash new sonic mayhem in the coming months. He also relayed that the notoriously busy frontman Corey Taylor (who also tours with Stone Sour and as a solo artist) is equally pumped to don a new mask for a new era of Slipknot!
