Fede Alvarez’s DON’T BREATHE-Themed Thanksgiving Tweet Makes Us Glad We Didn’t Eat at His House!

There are certain horror movies that contain a single scene that out-does the rest in terms of shock and/or depravity; when discussing such examples, people need only say “That Scene” to get nods of immediate recognition. Examples include A Serbian Film, Hereditary, Antichrist. Don’t Breathe, directed by Fede Alvarez and released in 2016, is another one of these films, containing a scene you couldn’t forget if you wanted to; two words: Turkey Baster.

In a Thanksgiving tweet sent late last night, Alvarez referenced “That Scene” with a picture that makes us glad we didn’t eat at his house last night!

Synopsis:
Rocky, Alex and Money are three Detroit thieves who get their kicks by breaking into the houses of wealthy people. Money gets word about a blind veteran who won a major cash settlement following the death of his only child. Figuring he’s an easy target, the trio invades the man’s secluded home in an abandoned neighborhood. Finding themselves trapped inside, the young intruders must fight for their lives after making a shocking discovery about their supposedly helpless victim.
