A few days back, some new buzz started to circulate around this internet thing for a French movie called Eden Log, based on the very slick trailer that showed itself out of seemingly nowhere (“What is Eden Log?” – August 2007).
Some digging was done by those who wanted to learn more, of course, and today STYD discovered that the Eden Log director Franck Vestiel’s MySpace page was ripe with images from the movie, none of which will get us any closer to fully understanding what it’s about. Which might be all right, since I found the less you know going in, the better.
What we do know is Eden Log deals with a man who wakes up at the bottom of a hole with no recollection how he got there, nor why his only companion is a corpse. Then he realizes he’s not actually alone down there, there’s something after him and he’s got to find a way out double quick. His journey will lead to the discovery of the titular organization.
