David Robert Mitchell’s UNDER THE SILVER LAKE Pushed Back Till December

Writer-director David Robert Mitchell’s new film, Under the Silver Lake starring Andrew Garfield, has just been postponed for 6 months. The movie was supposed to hit theaters later this month on June 22nd, but now it looks like we will have to watch until December.

The news comes to us via Exhibitor Relations over on Twitter who just announced the film will now be hitting December 7th. You can check out the tweet below.

The film is written and directed by David Robert Mitchell (It Follows) and stars Andrew Garfield (The Amazing Spider-Man) and Riley Keough (Mad Max: Fury Road).

It hits theaters December 7th.

Synopsis:
Sam is a disenchanted 33-year-old who discovers a mysterious woman, Sarah, frolicking in his apartment’s swimming pool. When she vanishes, Sam embarks on a surreal quest across Los Angeles to decode the secret behind her disappearance, leading him into the murkiest depths of mystery, scandal, and conspiracy in the City of Angels.
